The split

85% goes to the pack. That's the money that buys each pack and the creator's permission to share it free.
15% runs Baseplate: hosting, the domain, card fees and upkeep.
With Cover the fees on (the default), you pay a little extra so the full amount you chose goes to the pack. Without it, the card fee comes out first and the rest is split 85/15.
VIP: $2 of every VIP payment goes to the current goal. The rest runs Baseplate.
Refunds and disputes take back from both shares in proportion. Nothing is counted twice.
Goals show what the pack really costs. When a goal is full, we buy the pack and release it free.
Promotions and marketplace channels are paid services. Those fees don't go toward goals.
