About

A full weather system. A storm rolls in with a short cinematic of lightning, a thick layer of clouds with light rays, darkened lighting and fog, then random telegraphed lightning strikes land near players, with thunder sounds, screen shake, debris, a flash and area damage. The storm cycles on its own between clear and storm.

Setup: this is a full place file. Copy WeatherClient into StarterPlayerScripts, WeatherServer into ServerScriptService, and WeatherConfig, WeatherRemote and the WeatherVFX folder (with the Nuvems clouds) into ReplicatedStorage. In WeatherConfig set AutoCycle, FirstStormDelay (8s), StormDuration (120s), ClearDuration (90s), strike interval and range, Damage (20), Radius (12), the storm lighting and the sound IDs. Chat commands /storm and /clear start and stop a storm (anyone in Studio, only the place owner in a live game). Late joiners pick up the current weather from a ReplicatedStorage attribute.
